Why choose these boards?
Trough opto boards are now decades old, and ageing infrared emitters and phototransistors are a common cause of trough faults such as random ball deployment. Even after a repair, you're relying on ageing parts and often damaged pads.
These boards are a clean, drop-in replacement that behaves exactly like the original, but built with fresh components and clean copper. For restorations, long-term reliability or machines that see regular play, new boards are often a better choice than continuing to patch ageing originals.
Replica boards made by MC Circuit Works – not original Williams/Bally parts, and not made or endorsed by them. Part numbers A-18617/A-18618 and A-18617-1/A-18618-1 are shown so you can check compatibility.
